@bslon...I've never heard of Terry Allen And The Panhandle Mystery Band.  The band name, album title & jacket cover got me very intrigued.  I did some research and found that Shannon McNally sings on this album.  I really like her and have several of her albums, so up next:

Shannon McNally-"Black Irish"

US, Limited Edition, Red Vinyl

Sara K.-"Water Falls"

(Stockfisch is another excellent label.  One of my favs.)

I LOVE this thread!  You guys have posted artists I've never heard of and have found some great albums!!

"City Of Vampires" reminds me of a cross between Jimmy Buffett & Warren Zevon.  Cool song...

Nina Simone-"Little Girl Blue"

(Love me some Nina!  What an absolutely SUPERB recording and album.  Chad outdid himself on this one.)

My theme this week is going to be rock bands A to Z, in alphabetical order.  I have more fun with this using a theme than just pulling LPs at random.  I really have had a good time with this thread.  Thanks everyone for participating!

@slaw...Thanks for listening to Amy Helm!  I hate to admit that I've never heard of her.  After research, she is the daughter of Levon Helm and Libby Titus and the step-daughter of Donald Fagen!  She also has a very impressive resume on her own.

I put a couple of her albums in my Discogs cart...thanks again!

Mike & The Mechanics-"Living Years"

@tkelleyalaska...do you have the 2020 45RPM version or the 1995 33 1/3 copy?  I have the 1995 album.  I also have the CD.  Being a complete digital chain recording, (DDD) then to vinyl, they are indeed quite good.

I was a DMP dealer.  Did you know that "Tricycle" was the 1st Jazz CD available on the market?

Quicksilver Messenger Service-"Happy Trails"

Friday Music, Limited Edition, 180 Gram

Rush-"Permanent Waves"

MOFI, Limited Edition, Gain 2 Ultra Analog, 180 Gram, Half-Speed

Ten Years After-"A Space In Time"

Audio Fidelity, Limited Edition, 180 Gram

(Audio Fidelity was another excellent reissue label that is no longer.  Although their main interest was CD/SACD, their LPs were pretty damn good).

Wings-"Venus And Mars"

New 2025 reissue from Abbey Road, 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, Half-Speed
