@slaw  Not the new one, I got 1,000 Kisses a while back on vinyl for the first time (that album I consider one of the best albums of the last 25 years) but I had not picked up her newest record. It is excellent and maybe her best sonically.

Patty Griffin  - S/T from 2019 - holy schitt, this record is excellent. I don't know how/why I waited so long to get it. Sonically it is BRILLIANT! and may be her best record since 1,000 Kisses
Stanley Turintine  - Hustlin'  - Blue Note Tone Poet  - very very good

Herbie Hancock  - Headhunters  - Analogue Productions 200g 33rpm  - damn, just damn, what an incredible sounding record
Howdy folks,

Nirvana  - Unplugged (extended version with 2 LPs), SQ is VG+, vinyl excellent

@boxer12  - between Modest Mouse and Radiohead, I think we would get along well, I need to check out more of your spins I am not so familiar
Bill Evans  - Sunday at the Village Vanguard  - Analogue Productions 200g 45rpm
Charles Mingus  - Presents Charles Mingus  - Candid records all analog production  - SQ EX vinyl - good
@slaw ha, that could be a good way to describe you as well, my friend! I am all over the place.

Bob Dylan  - Blood on the Tracks  - Mofi One Step  - incredible
Neil Young  - Live at the Cellar Door - from Archives  - holy smokes what a great sounding record!
@slaw love that Aretha's Gold, I think I could listen to that record every day

Cannonball Adderley  - Somethin Else  - Classic reissue 33rpm 200gram. Excellent in every aspect but wish it was mono
Thanks, @tomic601
What was also cool was my father put in large Altec PA systems like the Astrodome and the Superdome and had a shop with a pretty good demo set up with some Voice of the Theater arrays and I could wail away after hours. Epic
Rush  - Permanent Waves  - I remember specifically having my money saved up and my father taking me up to a record store to buy this album the day it was released. I still love it
@boxer12   the  Cash is the only one I have from that label so wasn't sure if I just got lucky or if that is how everything was from them

The Doors  - An American Prayer  - reissue  -  really great
@boxer12- I have a Johnny Cash (Sun Singles) from Sundazed that is AWESOME, super high quality everything
@big_greg  +1 for the Cars  - Heartbeat City is the only one I don't  have on vinyl , that makes me want to pick it up

Dandy Warhols  - Come Down  - today purchase,  first time ever on vinyl,  the vinyl quality is EX and the SQ is better than expected,  phenomenal album
Yes  - Fragile -  Mofi One Step - incredible, one of the best so far  - amazing

Kenny Burrell  - Introducing Kenny Burrell  - Tone Poet  series  - VVG

Grant Green  - Born to be Blue  - Tone Poet series  - EX,  almost dead quiet vinyl,  EX SQ
@boxer12
I remember when that album came out and they played SNL. One of the more awesome 2 song sets on SNL.

Dwight Yoakam - Come  on Christmas  - this is a fun album ,sound is very good
Joe Henderson  - State of Tenor  - Live at the Village Vanguard vol II - awesome
Bill Evans  - Sunday at the Village Vanguard  - AP 200g 45rpm  - perfect
Miles  Davis - My Funny Valentine  - Mofi - EX+
Jerry Lee Lewis  - She Even Woke Me up to Say Goodbye  - great record  - all 3 of my copies has groove noise :(
Rolling Stones  - Some Girls
Dwight Yoakam  - Come On Christmas  - surprisingly good - did it for my wife but enjoyed it
Joe Henderson  - The State of Tenor  - Live at Village Vanguard Vol II - Blue Note Tone Poet series- this may be my new gold standard record for perfectly recorded and produced live Jazz. It is AWESOME!  the upright bass (and every instrument) is impeccably mic-ed, the soundstage is front row seat in your listening room. Very very quiet vinyl,  SQ EX ++++, the low end is KILLER! So glad my local record shop guru turned me onto this one.
Neil Young  - Live Rust  - O/P
Fleetwood Mac  - Tusk O/P
Peter Gabriel  - 2nd Solo Album  'Scratch' 45rpm 2xLP
@big_greg  I guess I will bite the bullet and pick at least one of them up to give it the old college try

Johnny Cash  - Original Sun Singles '55-'58 - Sundazed reissue  - Excellent!  Extremely quiet vinyl, SQ EX +, 3D imaging
@big_greg  I take it that MFSL of DS Comunique is the recent reissue? How is it? I want all of them but I think I have 3 or 4 copies of each of DS's albums (mostly original pressings in mediocre condition) and I keep wondering if the new Mofis are good enough to justify the investment?
@slaw I knew you meant Fair Warning,  and I agree, IMO Fair Warning is by far and away is VH's best album. Exponentially their best.

Modest Mouse  - Lonesome Crowded West  - exponentially MM's best album as well but I remember every time I put on the 2xLP reissue copy I have of this phenomenal album what a schitt mastering and pressing it is.
@slaw I definitely wish I had more of it, I find it to be consistently excellent. I am definitely a big fan
You must have gotten an early start, you have spun a bunch of great records already today!

Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers  - Drum Suite - Impex Records  - SQ EX+ , Perf EX,  vinyl not as quiet as my other Impex records
Phil Woods Quartet  - Woodlore  - Analogue Productions 200g 33rpm  - very very good,  SQ- EX,  vinyl - EX, performance B+
Rolling Stones  - Let it Bleed  - 50th anniversary reissue Bob Ludwig remaster. SQ Very good, not awesome, better remastering than Beggars Banquet, pretty quiet vinyl
@boxer12 I love the run of Radiohead  - my fav band

Willie Nelson  - Live from Austin, TX  - this record is AWESOME!  The performance is from Austin City Limits in 1990, the SQ is EX++, the vinyl is extremely quiet, the performance is EX! I have a Dwight from this series that is not nearly as good. Can't recommend this one more
Bill Evans - Live at the Top of the Gate  - another Black Friday RSD item,  excellent,  SQ EX,  vinyl dead quiet,  very good performance

Miles Davis  - Live in Tokyo  - RSD purchase as well,  SQ EX, performance EX,  vinyl a bit noisy even after a couple of runs thru the VPI cleaner
@slaw sorry to hear it, Sir.  That sounds like no fun at all. Hope some records can help you feel better quickly. Take care of yourself.

Thad Jones/Mel Lewis  - All my Yesterdays - from Record Store Days release- live at VV - only one disc in but this thing is amazing. You feel like you are at the front table of the club. Incredible master job
@reubent  yes, I think the Kappa 9s have been known to drop below 1ohm and nuke some amps but I have much faith in my McIntosh gear

Horace Silver  - Song for my Father  -  Music Matters SRX  - simply stunning, the details and sound stage on this pressing are just jaw dropping

Bill Evans  - Sunday at the Village Vanguard  -  45rpm 200g Analogue Productions  - perfect
@reubent  I have been looking at vintage Infinitys lately. A really pristine pair of Kappa 9s came up on CL not far from me at a good price and I was super tempted but they moved before I could pull the trigger. I would love to hear them and a pair of Betas again, it has been many years since I have

Radiohead  - In Rainbows
@reubent
Love when a choice work out right from the start.
Which Infinitys did the 3As replace?
@reubent  I love how you went to one of your tried and true records to test the new speakers!
How are you digging your acquisition?
@@boxer12
