Thanks Puffball! I picked up "Windy & Carl" per your posting. Love this site!

Hangedup / Clatter for control
+1 Brian for the 70's hippy folk music

Suns Of Arqa / Jaggernaught
Picked this one up yesterday (used) from the LRS. Very interesting indeed. Love the strong percussion & Indian influence within this album. Not sure if it's available via streaming, but worth checking out if it is.
I'll be taking my annual motorcycle trip (this time to the Michigan Upper Peninsula) starting tomorrow morning, so won't be around for a while. That said, last one for the night...

Prana Crafter & Tarotplane / Symbiose

@puffball08 Yes, it did come in 2 separate album cases. Mine is a remaster I believe, from a few years ago.

Earthmonkey / Audiosapien

I'll have to PM you on that one Steve :-)

Wooden Wand & The Vanishing Voice / Buck dharma
MV & EE / Mother of thousands

Brian(s),
You guys may enjoy this band. They definitely have a 70's hippy vibe going on.
Thanks Steve! I took the Victory (Cross Country model). Had a wonderful time & went all the way around the U.P., absolutely beautiful.

Swans / Leaving meaning
J_Husker,
Glad the surgery went well. I wish you all the best with recovery!
Spelling / Turning wheel
So I bought this album mainly due to the label "Sacred Bones", & the first time I heard it I was disappointed. The songs were a bit to structured & her voice a bit to nasally. I figured I must be missing something here so gave it another chance. Although the songs are more structured than I like... She has so much going on in the background that I'd ignored on first listen (must have just been a little pissed off or something), that this album has been getting steady rotation since.
Greg,
+1 for "Lone rhino"

Brian,
Thanks for the heads up on the stars album. Found one in good shape on discogs & am ordering it

Hey Steve!

I streamed a few before buying this one earlier this week. This is only the second Califone album I have (The other being "Heron King Blues", which you already own). Anyway...while streaming I didn't hear one I wouldn't own & would have bought more but this was the only Califone album the record store had.

All the best to you as well Jim. Hope you are swimming very soon!

Deerhoof / Maggie
Puffball,
It was a wonderful bike ride! Explored the UP for about a week. Moved around a lot. Copper Harbor was particularly beautiful. Only had two pasties the whole trip :-)

Variety Lights / Central flow
Dayglow,
Good to hear you should be set up again soon
