I've always been a fan of their first 2 albums (with Eno). They are one of a few bands that came on strong toward the end of their time together as well. That stated, with Avalon.
Very cool Jim!

Mammothguy,
We're thinking along the same lines... I made some acoustic panels & placed them at the first reflection point on the ceiling of my listening room today. Nice improvement for sure!
"speaking of analog, anybody have LP version of Feist - Metals ?"

Yes, great album. I don't recall it being recorded that well though. Will give it a spin shortly & let you know.
Jim,
I would give it a 6 out of 10 in regard to sound quality. Good width, depth, & soundstage, but I bit compressed. I used to listen to this album a lot, great content.
Steve, I agree she is a great musician. It will be good to have you back here! Hope you're having a wonderful time with your family.

Jim,
If you get a chance, check out Beckers "11 tracks of whack". Great CD, unfortunately I've never seen it on vinyl.

Laura Veirs / Year of the meteors
Steve's back!

I need to have my audiophile card pulled... Didn't even realize it was RSD today.

Talking Heads / Naked
Wturkey,
Good to see you cleaned the dust off of it :-)

Bright Eyes / Down in the weeds
Puffball,
It looks like you have some keepers in that shed. Can I have your wife's phone number please :-)
Puffball,
Bummer about the "Pere Ubu" album cover. Hopefully the Orb will clean up the vinyl!

Psychic Temple / Houses of the holy
Spirit,
The first time I heard that song from Pere Ubu, I called my youngest into the room & we both got a chuckle out of it.

Noromance,
+1 for "Commune"
