I wish nothing but the best for your family Jerry. I agree with Brian, insanity for sure.

+1 Mammothguy

Alan Vega, Alex Chilton, Ben Vaughn / Cubist Blues
Highly Recommended. It is a little out there, but not too far...

Just read that Mark Lanegan died earlier this week. Bummer, he was a really great musician.

That is good news Jerry!

Steve, I've been listening to a lot of Eno's releases I'd never been interested in  before (instrumental/atmospheric), & am finding them fascinating.

Hey Steve,

That is a great album from Brian Eno. If you haven't heard "Tiger Mountain", check that one out as well.

Hey Steve,

I like it A LOT. It is also recorded very well. Keep in mind though that it's a little out there, so... If you can stream it first, it may save you some disappointment. I checked Tidal & unfortunately it's not there. It may be on some of the others though.

I completely agree Brian!

+1 Steve

Wooden Wand & The Vanishing Voice / The flood

Hey Noromance,
I believe they both ended up in King Crimson. I'm not familiar with BP Fallon?

Lydia Lunch / My lover
This album will make you appreciate your wife (if married)

Jim, How is the system sounding?

Steve, Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. Liked the "Terry Allen / Smokin the dummy," BTW

Brian (bkeske), When you have some time, check out (stream) "Road Trips Vol.1 No. 4". I think you'll like it. (It's from '78)

I am blessed to have a pair of MyMat's on my table as well Jim. Thanks Steve!

Sonic Youth / Nurse

Steve,

That looks like a great box set! Never heard of that label so checked them out. They have a lot of good stuff!

j_husker,

I was also fortunate to see them play many times. I doubt there will ever be another band like them.

Pere Ubu / Modern dance

gray9hound,
Nice list. Is Eno "Music for films" one of his "ambient" type albums?

Do Make Say Think / ST
Spirit,
Thanks for your information on "Strictly Discs". Very interesting indeed!

Swans / Soundtracks for the blind

Hey James,

I have not heard: Black Country, New Road - “For The First Time”, but will check them out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Slaw,
+1 for "Beck, Sea Change". That is a great album

Oneida / Each one teach one

James,

Thanks for the recommendation of "Black Country, New Road". Streamed it early this morning. Great music!

Jim,

LOL, I was also a deadhead outcast for loving the "Arista releases". Still do!
