Welcome @arizonabob & @trentmemphis.  I like the geography and second the excellent music choices.

Columbia Masterworks MS 6078
From the Compilation Box of the Cycle in Stereo

This is a wonderfully romantic and dramatic old fashioned sounding film score style of a rendition.
Up next I’ll play the No.1 from the Cycle by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Simon Rattle.  I already know it pretty well but interested to make the comparison directly.

The latest Tool album is really good too.  Got kind of mixed reviews but I like the progressive aspects.

@Nick,    Innous - Very Nice.  Good combo with Roon?  No software headaches?   Don’t tell Steve .... but I’m saving up for a DCS Network Streamer.  I think my beloved tube DAC deserves it.

@Nicks25 Wish you a speedy return to good health and mobility. Hard to flip a record one handed...

If I may ask, what do you feed your DAC with? A computer? A streamer? I’m thinking about that Denafrips deserving a good stream.

Most excellent SQ   May be the coolest sounding Rush ever issued on vinyl.  Loud and fresh in my old ears.

@slaw ok, thanks.

this Ron Miles record is very good music but doesn’t sound all that great. I suspect maybe this is one of those European operations, like Jazz Wax Records,  I’ve read about that cut records from cds. The tone isn’t what I’d expect at all and the bass is a muddle.  Keeping track of good and bad labels might be too much to ask of me.  Oh well...

@slaw  is your Graceland, 25th the RSD issue?   Either way, which pressing do you prefer.  I have the OP and love it but could maybe upgrade.  Thanks.
Harvest went back in print recently and there should still be a few sealed copies around. It’s a carefully produced (re)release. I really like my copy. It’s better than the old pp I have. It won’t bring you down.

  Jim, Brian, the Bruckner is a treasure.  Talk about jaw dropping sonics.  Whew!   I am indeed blessed to have it.  I don’t buy many fancy records but this, after Beethoven, is most important music to me.  I actually like that it doesn’t really have a melody.  The harmonics are Just transcendent.
I’d been listening to a lot of Bruckner earlier this year, esp the 7th and the 8th.  I have a Haitink conducted cycle (pretty good itself).  Don’t remember if I saw the Presto Classical review or M. Fremer’s piece first but both got me interested.  The BP web site (and The BP label) is fantastic.  It was a little expensive but there is nothing like the sound of this album.

This is quite something.
Fleet Foxes new album, “Shore”, dropped on the services today.  Record won’t be out for a few months.  I’m on my second listen.  Seems maybe more pet sounds than ever (was always there).  Really nice though.
