@gardners501 —Too cool! Modern kites, especially quad lines are a blast! Fun pastime, I can get lost in it. Like playing the stereo!

Finished all 4 sides, some good selections and high SQ but IMO not as good as the Female edition. Wife agrees, FWIW.

Steve, compared to the CD there is no comparison! Way better sonics overall and I can’t believe the detail that’s missing from the digital version.

UPS today. Top notch SQ, have never heard Pure Prairie League’s Amie sound so good. Other cuts as well.

@slaw @dayglow In 1976, tired of my budget lo-fi stereo I went into McLain’s HiFi in Beaverton, OR. The rep put that Thelma LP on and, kind of stunned, I ended up walking out with a Garrard Zero 100, Sansui 8080 and ESS AMT1a’s which got me started in this awesome performance audio biz. Playing that record takes me back there, I love that feeling.

@sourpuss123 @tomic601 Been streaming Color Him Funky, thanks for suggesting Howard Roberts. Another artist to put on the list for the next record store trek.

Nice to hear about a good outcome Nick, thanks for sharing.

Steve, how are the sonics on that Children Of The Future LP?

@pierce911 Nice phono, I have the 9.0X version and it continues to amaze. It took about 40 hours to sound its best, but like you found it’s good just out of the box. Congrats!

@tomic601 That’s an enjoyable LP Jim!

@sourpuss123 , no kidding I’ve heard Howard Roberts but not known it. Excerpt from wiki:
Between these 2 guitars, and a few others that Roberts used, his playing can be heard as the lead guitar on the theme from The Twilight Zone as well as acoustic and electric guitar on I Love LucyThe MunstersBonanzaThe Brady BunchGilligan's IslandGreen AcresGet SmartBatmanBeverly HillbilliesAndy GriffithPeter GunnLost in SpaceDragnetWild Wild WestMission: ImpossibleThe Odd CoupleDick Van DykeI Dream of Jeannie, and the theme for the film Bullitt.

I didn’t care for disco way back when but turns out the LP sounds great on a good system. My wife snuck it into the rack, good move.
