Great album from Leonard Tomic. Well recorded too

More modern hippie sh*t

Tom,

The 10-12 minute sides bother me as well. I don't doubt it helps with SQ but think the larger factors (in regard to SQ) are how well they were mastered & pressed. Case in point... "The Golden Palominos OAO album" as well as "Calexico's Black Light album" are both >20 minutes per side & spectacular sounding. There are many others in my colection that fit that category as well. On the other hand, probably my best sounding album (SQ wise) is "The Butthole Surfers Widowmaker! EP", which is 45RPM / 12 minutes (approx.) per side, & the 45RPM Radiohead LP's seem to sound better than the 33's. So there is that...

Glad I could clear that up for Y'all 😀

Jim,

That would be hilarious! The "Bong Song" would send most of them over the edge 🙉

Tom,

I have a dozen or so "engravings". The best of them is from the band; "Grails"

Land Of Kush / Against the day
If any of you enjoy indie rock that is a bit off kilter (an acquired taste for sure... Much like black licorice :-), check this band out.
Butthole Surfers / Widowermaker
This is one of the best (sound quality wise / not content wise) recordings in my collection. (45 RPM)
Big Greg,
Thanks for the info. It is good to hear he is well

Mammothguy,
Fear of music is another excellent selection from the Talking Heads. When it comes down to it, I like pretty much everything David Byrne has put out. Very talented musician.

Steve, All the best to you, your mother, & your sister, my friend

Jim, Hope you & your wife feel better soon

John Cale / New society

Jim, Good to hear (pun intended)😀. Happy new year to you & your family as well!

Tom, Happy birthday!

Eno & Cale / Wrong way up

Hey Slaw!

Castanets / First Light's Freeze
This is soooo well recorded. Absolutely loving it
No problem Slaw & I understand completely. There is a LOT of great music out there. We are very fortunate.

Neurosis & Jarboe / ST

Hey James, Is the 2013 reissue of "snow goose" recorded better than the original? Mine is from "Passport Records"

+1 for Silver Jews, Steve!!!

Grateful Dead / Reckoning

bkeske & rajivhifi. I couldn't agree more, that is an excellent album. FWIW you may also want to check out the band below. Although it lacks the pedigree of "Diga Rhythm Band", it is an excellent album & one you may enjoy.
