Joel,
Exciting times for you, new speakers and a fun trip! Very cool.

Steve, I so wish I’d have jumped on a copy! 😭
Although the original’s SQ is very adequate.

Dixie Dregs / What If
1978 Capricorn

‘til tuesday / VOICES CARRY
1985 Epic

Aimee Mann, vocals and bass. Quieter vinyl and way better SQ than QotSH.

The Beat / S-T
1979 Columbia

Later renamed Paul Collin’s Beat, this is some righteous Power Pop! Like the cover says, “Play It Loud!”

@slaw Thanks for mentioning the B-52’s!

the B-52’s / S-T
1979 Warner Bros.
It’s hard to keep your feet still playing this record…

Pink Floyd / The Wall
1979 Columbia

Playing start to finish. It’s been a while for that, lots of good music on this double LP. Interesting details like Gomer Pyle on TV in the background. Comfortably Numb, two thumbs up!  SQ above average. Coming up now on the wall being blown to bits…

I just adore Laid Back

Me too, it’s hard to not like this album. I did post the release date incorrectly, it was 1973. Had it been 1975 Cher could have been involved…

@goofyfoot Nice handle! Thirty years or so ago when I tried to kill myself on my son’s skateboard he looked at me and said “Dad, you’re Goofyfoot!” 😎

The Band / Northern Lights-Southern Cross
1975 Capitol

On the porch today, wasn’t supposed to be released until tomorrow.

Steve Conte / Bronx Cheer
2021 Wicked Cool Records

No kidding on the “wicked cool”, some righteous rock and roll going on here.

Counting Crows / August And Everything After
45 RPM Analogue Productions reissue 2012 Geffen orig. 1993

+1 Steve Earle

Thanks for the Knebworth approval Steve, femoore12.

Eagles/ Hotel California
1976 Asylum

Steve, I’m guessing that Live @ will sound amazing!

Brian, I’m picturing a bit of a character. Is that even close? I would call meeting him an experience, to put it mildly. Better a privilege, and I’m not much for being anyone’s fanboy.
