Just like @big_greg, I stream so that I can listen before I buy the vinyl. I use this thread as input for my streaming and then decide if I want to purchase the vinyl. You are all very helpful there!

I was fortunate enough to buy an Innuos Zen Mini Mk 3 and a Denafrips Aries II DAC. Very happy with both purchases. I have a lifetime subscription to Roon but Innuos now has their own streaming app that supports both Tidal and Qobuz.

The other feature of the Zen Mini is the internal hard drive which lets you rip CDs which are then available in your library. I don’t have many CDs but I have purchased a few when there is no vinyl available.
I listen to vinyl about 70% of the time.
John Lennon - Walls and Bridges

@spiritofradio - I do not think I would pay that much for a record, but would never say …..
@slaw where did you purchase the Winwood album?
Saw on Amazon and a few reviews complained about SQ.
Dan Fogelberg - Country Snows
Great supporting cast on this album - Herb Pederson, Ricky Skaggs, Chris Hillman, Russ Kunkel, Vince Gill, Doc Watson …

Outlaws - Hurry Sundown
Saw them in a theater in Youngstown OH in 1972 and they played so loud I had to leave the venue.  Nevertheless, like their music.
@mammothguy54

good to hear that your surgery went well and that you will be able to play vinyl!

after my shoulder surgery, I didn’t trust the one armed/handed method so there was no vinyl for a couple of weeks for me
@j_husker

Glad to hear it went well - best wishes for a speedy recovery!  Music should help.
New York Rock Ensemble - Roll Over
Streaming the new Doobie Brothers release today - Liberte.   I would like to purchase but I can only find on CD.   Too bad!
