@tomic601 that is awesome, I saw them in Austin at an outdoor venue, 60K people, and did well to position myself about 30 feet directly in front of center stage before the first band (Joe King Carrasco) came on, perfect spot, except I really had to pee but I didn't want to give up my killer spot. By the time UB40 and the Police finished their sets I was pretty much numb from the waist down. But they were awesome.
Saw Sting at the same venue much later, maybe '95 or so.
@slaw that is the one I was thinking, Message in a Box was the old one that I had on digital version.
I see if for $169 and may just do it, I love them and saw them in '83 at the height of their career

Counting Crows - August and Everything After - AP 45rpm 200g - this album has stood the test of time
@slaw I take it you are talking about Message in a Box, the Police box set? Is it worth it? I have multiple copies of everything but still considered buying it.
@slaw is Devil Music that good or you are trying to make that determination?
The Dead - American Beauty - Mofi 45rpm - incredible
 Beastie Boys - Check Your Head
Lee Morgan - The Sidewinder
Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood - Mofi One Step
Pink Floyd - DSOTM - newest reissue
Bach Starker - Records 3-6 - AP box 45rpm
Sonny Boy Williamson - Keep it to Ourselves - AP 45rpm 200g - fkn killer!
McCoy Tyner - The Real McCoy - AP
Colter Wall - Western Swing & Waltzes - exceptional
Richard Thompson - Rumor and Sigh - Mofi

Junior Wells - Hoodoo Man Blues - AP 45rpm 200g - amazingly great
Merry Christmas folks!

Started off with Shelby Lynne - Just a Little Lovin' - AP 45rpm 200g - but got the stink eye from the woman so I moved to

Dwight Yoakum - Come on Christmas - which is a pretty damn good record but is the extent of my Christmas vinyl
@slaw I have been streaming his Self Titled album and Western Swing and Waltzes a bunch in the car as well. Just need to pick them up on vinyl. The guy is genius.
I see you have known that for a while.
Midnight Sugar - Tsuyoshi Trio - from Impex box set 45rpm - everyone should source their vinyl from whomever Impex uses.
Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood - Mofi One Step - killer!

Hey, Boxer - when can I get some cables from you?
Hey, folks

Joe Henderson - The State of Tenor Vol 1 - Blue Note Tone Poet series - exceptional, the upright bass on this album is outstanding!
@slaw thank you, Sir
I am very happy with them
You just sold your Ushers, eh?
@slaw I picked up a pair of B&W Nautilus 800s in cherry wood finish last week. They are excellent and a pretty good upgrade from my older 802s, mainly for the low-end with dual 10" instead of the dual 8"
@slaw it is excellent. Couple of guys I speak with recommended it highly and it didn't disappoint. It is available at Acoustic Sounds. The record fairy showed up today and this one of them. Sound great on the new speakers

The Doors - LA Woman - AP 45rpm 200g - supa nice
Dean Martin - Dream with Dean - AP 45rpm 200g - damn, I feel older enjoying this but damn if this isn't a stunning record
@simao yes, it is my understanding that Waltz for Debbie is all tracks that were recorded during the sets at the Village Vanguard that made up Sunday at the Village Vanguard and released later. It is a great record.

Dave Brubeck - Time Out - AP 33rpm
Patsy Cline - Greatest Hits - AP 33rpm
Both are stellar
@slaw nice haul!

Bill Evans - Waltz for Debbie - for a no frills pressing it is excellent.
Interested to hear it, if it is as good as the Mofi One Steps or UHQR it should be impressive sounding
Aretha Franklin - Aretha's Gold - 45rpm Mofi

Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms - 45rpm Mofi
@slaw hey, BTW - since you mentioned Patricia Barber and Impex....
Did you see that Impex has a 1step that is about to ship on Patricia Barber's Cafe Blue? I have had it on preorder for about 10 months or so. I am not much of a PB fan but her stuff is so well recorded and I love Impex so I am interested to see how it sounds. Didn't know if you were aware?
@slaw - hey, buddy!
+1 on that Impex Willie Nelson - that pressing is so frikkin great!
Elvis Presley - 24karat Hits - 45rpm Analogue Productions 3 disk set - gawd damn if this ain't one of the best pieces of vinyl I have ever heard. I have had this for 3 or 4 years and I am just amazed every time I play this pressing.
Miles Davis - Miles in the Sky - Mofi 45rpm

Beck - Hyperspace

Putting a new to me pair of speakers through the paces.
Miles Davis - Filles de Klimengaro - Mofi 45rpm - totally awesome. I forgot how much I enjoy this record
