I too have Charlie’s Lines and also Fantasy Girls, I like No Second Chance best. The finale on side 2, Guitar Hero, stream if you can. But the whole LP is a good listen. Nice to hear there’s another fan!

Steppenwolf / The Second
The Who / Who’s next

My Wife, composed by “Thunderfingers”, great lyrics and Moon drumming. Usually I can’t get past this cut without a replay.

@plumptonvinyl  +1 Sam Fender Seventeen Going Under. Have a copy on its way, thanks for posting.

Blue Stingrays / Surf-N-Burn
1997 Epitone
Nice cover of Goldfinger theme.

Anyone have any 3 sided records with cool artwork pressed into side 4?

Terry Allen’s Just Like Moby Dick has what looks like a whale with harpoons stuck in it. Not sure about the cool factor, it’s more like someone scratched it in the vinyl with a nail or something. Maybe it’s not even a whale…

Hey "turntable tonight?" thread guys. Anyone else annoyed by this recent practice of placing a standard LP length recording onto 2 disks

Tom, I don’t like it either. It increases the likelihood of getting a noisy pressing (1 vs. 2LPs) and spoils the continuity of songs for some records IMO.

Same here on the Dead, a couple Warner Bros. 180g reissues in the mix is all.

If they 45’d it Terrapin wouldn’t be completely on one side, that might take some getting used to.

+1 The Band / NL-SC
I can listen to Acadian Driftwood over and over…

Coincidence, just played
Tom Petty / Full Moon Fever
Yesterday, Petty’s Mojo—nice sonics on that one.
Have several albums, seen live, like the band, partly why I bought the Blue Stingrays. Agree with your comment, lots of good music there.

Fun stuff for sure!

Ian Hunter / untitled

Donovan / Donovan’s Greatest Hits

Thunderclap Newman / Hollywood Dream (prod. by Pete Townshend)
