@sourpuss123 I listened to all four sides of the Godfathers last night, couldn't stop!    Wish I'd bought their other two LP's back in the day. Hope you score on Dcogs.

FWIW I reported some iOS issues with the new software. Tammy @agon sez the bugs are being worked on by the developer.

Pink Floyd / Dark Side Of The Moon

30th Anniversary issue Holland import

I also got the InAGadaDaVida reissue, No. 910. What a trip! My original is rife with surface noise so I'm happy to get a quality replacement. The title track, what a song!

I saw Iron Butterfly with Uriah Heep in 1969 at the Salem, OR National Guard Armory of all places. Like mammothguy64, I remember it to this day.

McGuinn, Clark & Hillman /McGuinn, Clark & Hillman

1979 Capitol

It's been a quiet few days here with the system dismantled and moved to paint the room. Nice to have everything clean, wiped down and repositioned. Serviced the TT and the platter is spinning like a roulette wheel.

The James Gang / The James Gang Rides Again

1970 Geffen- 2017 MoFi reissue

@bkeske, I couldn’t agree more, I feel I could’ve written that.
@slaw, same here but use a Sony HAP to stream Spotify. Love this thread for new music recommendations.
Tommy James & The Shondells / The Best Of Tommy James & The Shondells
1969 Roulette Records
Yup, 10cc. Lol.
Old 97’s, good stuff. Rhett Miller’s The Instigator also good on CD.

That ELP BSS has some of the cooler jacket art. The original title was to be Whip Some Skull On Ya but was changed after it was found the meaning translated to “fellatio”. They shoulda stuck with the original, who’d know? Like what Steely Dan is named after…

Emerson, Lake & Palmer / Brain Salad Surgery
Steve, some of the cuts on Knave it’s Ian Anderson sounding like Mark Knopfler—voice and guitar, too. Did you notice that on Catfish Rising?

Jethro Tull / Benefit
@audiowav
a couple days ago @bikerbw posted he bought a nice stack of records at Goodwill so maybe it’s just your location? Keep looking, good luck!

Dire Straits / Love Over Gold
You all are great fun, glad I found this place!

Still going on New Wave…

Dirty Looks / Dirty Looks
1980 New Wave band, not the Metal band that swiped their name

Sorrows / Sorrows
Re-released in 2010 as Bad Times Good Times
The Knack / Get The Knack
The Romantics / The Romantics
Simple Minds / New Gold Dream
The Sinceros / The Sound Of Sunbathing

Some New Wave/Power Pop going on here today
That’s a good one to have, Steve. If you ask me, we can never have too many records.
@mammothguy54

“I am not getting any younger. Now is the time to make some rather significant steps forward in my system. And then, enjoy!“

I love the attitude! Best to you!

The Wonderful Sounds Of Female Vocals / sides 3 & 4

This Analogue Productions compilation pulls me in and I end up listening to all four sides. Great artists, “wonderful sound”, well presented.
@spiritofradio

I too have Charlie’s Lines and also Fantasy Girls, I like No Second Chance best. The finale on side 2, Guitar Hero, stream if you can. But the whole LP is a good listen. Nice to hear there’s another fan!

Steppenwolf / The Second
