@noromance .

Never heard anybody else bar myself here ever mention The Pentangle.

Great stuff 👍
Thinking I need just keep to these music forums as there just is no getting through to people like Chak or Mijo and it frustrates the pee out of me to see such garbage posted.

Sorry, rant over.

On with the music!
Plan B will be: “ what about Slaw and Uberwaltz, but that sounds like a vegan Resturant with dancing.... maybe German beer
Too funny!

Pass me the sour Kraut.....
@noromance

I just bought that Fairport Convention album along with Close to the Wind.

Not had chance to play either yet.
@reubent .

Holy smoke.

This Drama album is stupendous!

If the remaster is better than this I have to have it!
Roll On Ruby ...... Lindisfarne.

Loving the QL-A7 moved into my second system, much better than the El cheapo Pioneer that was there previously.
Outfitted with a NOS Glanz Esoter Cart it sounds magnificent.
Too funny.
I just picked up the remastered Genesis And Then There Were Three from a charity shop this morning.
Think I can chance it for 50 cents.
Tbh I quite like it though, always have.
Abacab had not been played again since I bought it if that tells you anything .. lol
Pretty sure will not make more than one album at one sitting though.

Will need to rock out again soon.....😁😁
And now for something completely different.

The Well Tempered Clavier ... J.S.Bach.

A 5 album box set by Archiv Productions from 1975. Picked up at charity shop for $1, unopened and never played, a real time warp.

Not a hint of unwanted noise, this is possibly one of the albums Chak blathers on about that did not need cleaning.

A little off my normal path but just wow, what a recording, giving the Maggie's a workout as nobody home bar myself!
Magnificent choice Greg!
Remember catching them live in England about 77 with Bon Scott.

I have no idea if they were good or not though as we were right in front of lh speaker stack and it was literally just white noise!
Stone deaf for 5 days afterwards..🤣🤣
Moving Waves .... Focus.

Really impressed with how fresh and crisp this sounds after a good US cleaning.
The interaction between Scott and Angus was definitely a high light of their live show.
This sounds disgusting now many years later but I remember being covered by Angus sweat as we were so close.
I mean the thought now is yuk but any video you may have seen with sweat flying off him live is absolutely true.

It was there " let there be rock" tour and man was there rock! Lol.
Wore that album out at least twice. Lol.
Morning Slaw.

Thanks and next record up is the same, sounds a lot more dynamic than I remember from last play before cleaning.

Tea For The Tillerman .... Cat Stevens.
Slaw
I really am enjoying listening to music I would never have considered a couple of years back.
Jim is good that way, he sent me a mint album few months back for which I am/ was extremely grateful.

Made my week to know there are still a lot of "good guys" left out there!
Tomic
Talking of covers.
Have you ever heard the Motorhead covers album?
Under Cover.

I was suitably impressed.
Next up, one of my 50%off Barnes&Noble purchases.

Windy City ..... Alison Krauss
Azure D,Or ..... Renaissance.

Now you want to talk about a female vocalist!
Annie Haslam who used to have a 5 octave range in her prime.
Tomic
I would have to agree on Windy, good job it was half price....lol.

Glad you also like Renaissance!
Try out Mostly Autumn as well, if you not already familiar.
Heart full of Sky is my favorite album by them.

Hoppkorv ... Hot Tuna
Have a great week my friends!
No records for me as now stuck in snowy West Virginia again
Be time for streaming
Enjoy the vinyl!
Tomic
Glad you liked the Mostly Autumn recommendation, enjoy!

Spirit.
I played Moving Waves Saturday I think and it blew me away with with just how fresh it sounded considering its age!
Nearly done with the work week and ready to haul home.
Firing up the rig tomorrow afternoon with another handful of new to me goodies from the West Virginia Badlands.😁😁
Elliott.

It does not say mono or stereo anywhere on the Jacket or LP label. Played with my Grado Mono cartridge, sounds terrific.

You might want to be careful there.....

It is fine to play a mono record with a stereo cart.
It is not recommended to play a stereo record with a mono cart as movement is limited to one direction in a mono cart.
