Slaw & Tomic, Thanks I'll keep an eye out for his music

The Jazz Butcher / Fishcotheque
Hey Uber,
I saw Rainbow in the early/mid 80's. Great band live. I believe they were touring with utopia at that time.
I just picked up that Hot Tuna album last week. Had it on CD but not vinyl. Great on vinyl! If you like that, you'll probably also like to try  "Johma Kaukonen / Quah" if you don't already have it (which I suspect you guys probably do lol)

Grizzly Bear / Painted ruins
uber, Yes I do remember. I've been on the lookout for that album since you mentioned how well it was recorded. The cd (it was "burned" so not a factory copy) is okay but nothing like the vinyl.

Tonic, That must have been a great show

MV & EE / Space homestead
6t5-gto / I bought that rolling stones album right when it came out. Love it

Mark Lanegan / Blues Funeral
Thanks Slaw, Merry Christmas to you as well

Stone Jack Jones / Love & Torture
It's almost a sin how some people handle vinyl. Old jazz albums seem to be the worst.

Sallie Ford / Soul sick
Oh they certainly make a difference. I have cowhide (moo mats), cork (the mat), some type of cotton fiber composite, & delrin. They all have a signature.

Beth Gibbons / Out of season
+1 Tomic

Slaw, Should get the mat today :-)

Hiss Golden Messanger / Lateness of dancers
Death Vessel / Island intervals
(Note this sounds nothing like the name implies. It is more of a heavy electric folk band that seldom goes beyond mid-tempo. My kind of music LOL)
Merry Christmas Spirit!

Hey uber, I'm impressed so far & will give a complete report after listening with it in place for a while. Right from the start I like how it handles the top end & the detail retrieval. It also grips the album excellently which I suspect is the reason for the added punch I'm hearing & its staging ability.

XIU XIU / Knife play
uber, I picture tonearms with dimes, nickles, & quarters taped to the top of them

The Jazz Butcher / Fishcotheque
Roxy Music / Roxy Music
I really like this band. Especially the first 2 albums when Brian Eno was with them.
