His story is sad especially when you consider how long ago that was, 87 I think?
Still a bit of an uncommon occurrence then.

Spirit.
Thank you for that list, most kind.
Slaw.
The special efx album maybe something you will like, a sort of jazz/ fusion group.
Try it, not got much to lose.
You are lucky, I usually get a notice saying item delivered but when I look there is nothing there. Then if I am really lucky someone from down the street will bring me an album that was dropped off at their house instead! 😫😫.

Hey we are all in this hobby for the joy and experience and if anyone's view or opinions can help others it is a very good thing indeed.
Thx Greg.
New to me but the whole genre is new to me.
One good( or bad depending on your viewpoint) aspect is that my lrs owner is heavily into jazz/ fusion so he has a LOT of album to browse through.
Actually I am getting more into jazz/ fusion as I get older.
Recent favorite are Spyro Gyra and Passport.

Some phenomenal playing on these and IMHO fairly accessible.
Spirit.
I did not know weather report but the internet is a wonderful thing ... Lol.
Already figured the mid 70,s albums would be my ticket.
Like heavy weather , Mr gone and black market ... Lol.

Now I had heard of and heard Jaco Pastorious. I used to play bass and that guy was just freaking amazing.
I will be streaming some later tonight via Qobuz
Jamesclarke.
Thx!
Just what I needed.....
A reason to spend more money.

😂😂😂😂
I am a morning person not a night owl, by 11pm im all done in!
Call me a wimp, that's fine!

I did listen to Weather Report and Return to Forever via Qobuz last night.
Neither had as much appeal to myself as Spyro or Passport.
But if we all liked the same stuff it would be a very boring world!
Spirit
Hmmm
Well I do not recall criticising your choice of music.
But to each their own.
If you don't know what to say then best say nothing IMHO.

Ciao
As far as live albums go yes it is excellent, most I find to be do badly recorded as to be painful!

Actually the Ten Years After live I listened to earlier is pretty darn good.
Marillion real to reel rocks too.
Peter Gabriel live.
.......
Oh now I have opened my flood Gates on live albums... LMAO
Greg
Gary Moore always makes me think of Thin Lizzy.

Live and Dangerous up next.
It's Hard ... The Who.

Giving the new to me VA Haydn monitor speakers a work out on the second system.
Hey Chris.
Nice to see you here and welcome!

Sent you a message.

Weather Report S/T
Sounds good Tomic.
If it is significantly better than the Phonomena it could be of great interest.

Burning Sky ... Bad Company
Sweet!
Always good when you get new toys.
I love being an audio addict! LMAO.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and their family.
Have a great holiday and enjoy the turkey!
On vacation for five days so no records or posts here for a few days.

Please try to survive......

😇😇😇😇
The Riddle ... Nik Kershaw.

Love this album, really well produced and classic 80,s new romantic's.
Another Grey Area ... Graham Parker.

Pretty impressed with how well this is playing considering it is warped to heck and back!
The Victor tt-81 and ua7082 / astatic mfg610 is handling it just fine.
Boxer.
I think it is fair to say George has a little bit of an attitude problem.
Hard to converse with him on any level as he just cannot contain his apparent hatred of any tweak!

Really glad he does not post in the music threads........
Slaw.
One assumes from your prolific posting you are not so under the weather now.
Good to hear if so sir.
👍👍
No Mystery ... Return to Forever.

Forgotten how good a cartridge the AT15ss truly is.
Been Cart swapping this afternoon and dug this one out and pretty happy with it tracking at just 1g.
It can stay on the Garrard for a while.
Don't remember that record being so noisy so off for US cleaning it goes.

Chinatown .... Thin Lizzy
