Well done reissue, great SQ

Deep Purple / Shades Of Deep Purple
2015 Parlophone RE, orig. 1968

Steve, I like the choral and orchestral additions. Haven’t played it in a long time, if I had one I’d say “From The Vault”… 😁

Pink Floyd / Atom Heart Mother
1970 Harvest

Engineered by Allan [sic] Parsons 😎

The Jimi Hendrix Experience / Are You Experienced
2020 Analogue Productions UHQR, orig. 1967

Jethro Tull / Crest Of A Knave
1987  Chrysalis

I like Tull, I like Dire Straits, I like this record. Some songs, like “Budapest”, take out the flute and it’s Knopfler & Co. Turns out this is Tull’s first album after a 3 year hiatus because of an Ian Anderson throat infection, still affecting his voice. Whatever, two thumbs up!

The Tourists / Reality Effect
1979 Epic

Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart pre Eurythmics

Ouch! Smooth jazz...bslon, my idol, has gone to the darkside....

@loomisjohnson Too funny, Brother!

Grover Washington Jr. / Mister Magic

Whatever way, a great album.

Bob Weir / Heaven Help The Fool

Bill Champlin, Tom Scott, others contribute

Small Faces / Playmates

Produced by George Harrison. Billy Preston, Gary Wright, Alvin Lee, Jim Keltner, Hari Georgeson (aka George Harrison) and others contribute.

Roxy Music / Avalon (half-speed master)
2022 Virgin, orig. 1982

These new half speed mastered releases are really a treat!

@big_greg 👍

And next to (recently played) Tubular Bells:

Oingo Boingo / Only A Lad
1981 A&M

I’m in the “O”s too Steve, was going Outlaws next but you swayed me towards the Daredevils. 😎

Interesting choice of materials by Cardas.

Mike Oldfield / Ommadawn
1975 Virgin

Found next to O&ITW in the rack, neglected for the past 45 plus years…
