@6t5-gto - "Brother Where You Bound" - You know it's my favorite..... Thanks...
@millercarbon - Welcome to the thread. Keep 'em coming....

That's quite a list you put together. Was that all one listening session? Great stuff.
@millercarbon - Nice evening, and some great, great records. Many are in my list of favorites. And ending with the last of the Makers Mark ain't bad either.
The Kinks - "One For The Road" live

The live version of "Celluloid Heroes" is one of my all time favorites.
Marc Cohn - ST

Belongs on that list of best debut albums. All Killer, No Filler........
@uberwaltz  - I originally had the Marc Cohn album on CD, then got a nice copy on LP this last Christmas. Let me know how it sounds on Cassette Tape. If you don't like it, it's the fault of your media, not my poor taste in music...... ;~)
@big_greg  - Marc Cohn will be playing a tiny 300 seat ballroom here in Cincinnati in August. Show is currently a go. I may buy tickets and hope for the best. I really need to see a live show. It's been a long, painful winter/spring without live music.
Lee Moses - "Time and Place"  Check it out if you like real soul music.......
@mayoradamwest - Welcome to the "What's on your turntable tonight?" thread. Keep 'em coming.......
Guys,

Sorry for arriving late to the party tonight. Just have time for one glass of wine, and a record. On the TT........

Rare Earth - "Ecology"

Man, their version of "Losing You" rocks, as does the whole record. Loved it since the '70s.
@spiritofradio  - How is that remaster of  Mindy Smith - "One Moment More"? I have the CD from when it was originally released. The first track - "Come to Jesus" is an incredibly good song and the sound quality was very good on the CD.
@uberwaltz - How do you like "Loudhailer"? I loved it when it came out. I'll have to give it a spin later.....
Finally back from a long week of work out of town. First LP of the weekend

Yes - "Going for the One"
It's Friday Night. What the Heck..........

Frankie Goes to Hollywood - "Welcome to the Pleasuredome"
Tomorrow - S/T

I love this 1967/68 release from one of the earliest English psychedelic bands. Tomorrow features a young Steve Howe from before you joined the guys that formed YES.Really a marvelous record IMHO, especially side 2.
YES - "Drama"

Not the classic YES lineup, but some fantastic guitar work from Steve Howe.
@uberwaltz - " What do You Want from Live" has been a long time favorite of mine since it was released 40 years ago. I was luck to see them live around the time of that recording. Just listened to it a week or so ago myself. Great stuff.

Dave Davies - "ALF1-3603"

From the latest Plaid Room Haul

2/3 of the way through the LP. So far, I gotta say its a mess. Horrible recording IMHO. The vocals are recorded very oddly. They sound out-of-phase or have some other type of processing that makes them sound awful.

This one's likely going into the "to trade/to sell" pile for recycling...

Dave Edmunds - "Repeat When Necessary"

From the latest Plaid Room Records Haul.....

Latest InSound order is in the house! Pickup up the following during the latest 60% off sale:

Steve Earle - "El Corazon" - Glad to hear you like it @slaw
Yes - "Drama" bought it to replace a noisy original I already own
The Pogues - "If I Should Fall From Grace With God"
Kraftwerk - "Autobahn" To reply the warped copy I received in December

Got Yes - "Drama" spinning now. Sounds great and no noise......
@slaw - Already loving it. I've loved it since it was released. Even better on vinyl......

No all-nighter for me. Just drove 7 hours to have dinner with my family after a long week of work out of town...
The Beatles - "Let It Be" - Picked by my 15 year old son as the closer for tonight.
What a day! Stopped to get my hairs cut (all of them!) and dropped into the record store next-door to the barber. They were WAY overstocked by about 4000 records or more. Had a huge sale. All of the records in the dollar bin were $.25 and 2 free if you buy 4. So, 6 for a dollar. I ended up with 50 records for $7. I don't even know where to start with the lot. I've cleaned a few and just put on my first selection.......

Nicolette Larson - "Nicolette"
Went back to the record store today to finish looking through their sale stash. Ended up with another 30 records for $5. Grand total for the weekend, 80 LPs for $12.00. Not a bad haul. Now I have to go through the cleaning and listening to see how I really fared.
