Nils Lofgren - "Wonderland"

From the latest Plaid Room Records haul

So far, very nice!

Guys, how about Bultaco, Hodaka, Puch and Can-Am. All seen around local motocross tracks in the early '70s.
OK, here's my last MC post (at least for tonight). Here were my bikes:

1969 Honda Mini-Trail 50
1971 Honda Trail 70

1984 Yamaha RZ350LC (Team America Colors)
1991 Honda VFR750
1993 Honda CBR900RR

Gave up bikes when I moved and lost most of my garage space. Plus my wife was not thrilled about me riding. Would like to get a bike again, but want something much slower. Would love to have a lightly modified Honda GB500TT.
Jefferson Starship - "Red Octopus" Probably haven't played it in 35 years, or more....
Jimbo Mathus and the Tri-State Coalition - "White Buffalo"

If you have any interest, go out and read his bio on Wiki. Interesting guy who has lead an interesting life.

Brilliant album IMHO.
@uberwaltz - I'm curious to see how you feel about Jimbo Mathus' music. I have 4 of his records. I love 1, like 1 and don't like 2. This is my order of preference:

1. "White Buffalo" - Love it
2. "Dark Night of the Soul" Like it. 2-3 really strong tracks, some filler, and not so greats...
3/4. "Blue Healer" and "Band of Storms" Don't like them.

Let me know what you think. It's way outside of the genres you usually post about.....

10cc - "Deceptive Bends"

Thanks to a reminder post in the "what are you streaming" thread by @uberwaltz
Good start to the weekend. Went to my LRS on Friday afternoon and came home with the following:

Sheryl Crow -"Tuesday Night Music Club" - New Black Friday RSD exclusive 2 record set
John Denver - "John Denver's Greatest Hits" - New Re-issue (for my family)
The Edgar Winter Group - "They Only Come Out at Night" used
Rolling Stones - "Tattoo You" used
The Dave Edmunds Band - "Live - I Hear You Rockin'" used
Dire Straits - "Communique" used
Traffic - "John Barleycorn Must Die" used

Had a couple of friends over last night for an impromptu listening session. Listen to cuts from all of the above, plus a few cuts from

Weather Report - "Heavy Weather"
Harry Nilsson - "Nilsson Schmilsson"

Listened to lots of other stuff via Spotify too. Was a great Friday night.......

The Dave Edmunds Band - "Live - I Hear You Rockin'"

Found a very clean copy in the $1 bin at my LSR. Brought it home, ran it through the Spin Clean, plopped it on the TT and settled into about 40 minutes of Pop Rock perfection. Good Stuff if you like old style pop/rock music.
The Tubes - "What Do You Want From Live?"

One of my favorite live records of all time. Seriously! It's awesome..........
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 1/25/19

You heard it hear first, on the "What's on your Turntable Tonight?" thread.....

60% off sale started again today at InSound - www.insound.com

Click on the VINYL tab, right under INSOUND on the homepage for a complete list of artist and LPs available. Looks like they have 438 LPs to chose from at the moment.

I loaded up on the previous sale, just before Christmas. Ended up buying 13 LPs, all at great prices. Almost all of them turned out to be gems. All arrived in perfect new condition and played great. I really like all of them, except "Test for Echos" and "Red Dirt Girl". I love the songs on Red Dirt Girl, just don't think the sound quality is up to what I was expecting.
