Last week, I was into bands from "The Great White North".  This week, I'm going "Down Under".

Little River Band-"First Under The Wire"

MOFI (Early Mobile Fidelity 1-036)

@slaw...I have the CBS/SONY Japan Pro Use copy and it's the absolute best I've ever heard and I have a US & UK 1st pressing.  Wonderful album.

We've had a bunch of snow and REALLY cold weather here also.  Totally agree...I love my stereo even more during these events!

King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard-"Sketches Of Brunswick East"

US, Limited/Special Edition, Yellow With Blue Sky Splatter

I’ll add my $.02 worth. I have a massive amount of both German and Japanese pressings, (along with a plethora from other countries).

I find, almost without question, that the German and Japanese pressings are better than most others. Just my opinion...

...for what it’s worth...YMMV.

She & Him-"Classics"

US 1st Pressing

@slaw...thanks for the M. Ward mention!

Alison Krauss And Union Station-"So Long So Wrong"

MOFI, Gain 2, 2LP, Ultra Analog

Already pre-ordered the new Alison Krauss!

Absolutely LOVE her. Seen her solo and with the band numerous times.

Also, I'm going to her Red Rocks show in June!

@slaw...playing off your lead:

Roseanne Cash-"Kings Record Shop"

Japanese Pressing

Tedeschi Trucks Band-"Revelator"

Music On Vinyl, Limited Edition, 2LP, Flamin' Yellow Vinyl

My theme this week is going to be Southern Rock, (inspired by @slaw). Southern Rock is one of my favorite genres of music and I have a TON of LPs.  To quote Gregg Allman; "Southern Rock is a feeling, it's a way of life. It's about the dirt roads, the sweat, and the soul of the South."

Blackberry Smoke-"The Whippoorwill" (FANTASTIC album)

US Pressing, Limited Edition, Whiskey colored vinyl

Saw these guys in Denver the night before they were to leave for their first European tour. Take about an incredible show! AXS TV filmed it.

.38 Special-"Wild-Eyed Southern Boys"

US Pressing, 40th Anniversary, Pink Vinyl

(seen them a couple of times)

Black Oak Arkansas-"High On The Hog"

US 1st Pressing

(saw them just once)

Go Jim Dandy, Go! cheeky

Ozark Mountain Daredevils-"The Car Over The Lake Album"

US 1st Pressing w/7" Flexi Disc

ZZ Top-"Tres Hombre"

US SYEOR, (Start Your Ear Off Right), Limited Edition, Jalapeno Green Vinyl

(seen them at least 8 or 9 times)

@cartman68...NICE table!  I'm a huge Transrotor fan.  What arm do you have?  I had that same cart at one time, it's also really good.  I bet that rig sounds great!  Thanks for chiming in on this thread...

Holly Cole-"Temptation"

Analogue Productions, 2LP, 200 Gram

(I also have this in a 4LP BoxSet, 180 Gram, that is sealed)

Delaney & Bonnie & Friends-"On Tour" (With Eric Clapton)

Speakers Corner (Germany), 180 Gram, Pure Analog

The Black Crowes-"The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion"

UK, Back To Black Series, 2LP, 180 Gram

@slaw...good call on First Aid Kit!  I really like those two sisters.  "Emmylou" is one of my favorite songs.

@slaw...yes, on the Secret Sisters.  They are on New West Records and I have a bunch of their titles.  Great label and artists.
