REM - Automatic for the People - such a great recording and album and a phenomenal closing track

Bill Evans - On a Monday Evening - pressed at RTI - dead silent vinyl and a great recording

Bill Evans - You Must Believe in Spring - Craft 45rpm - killer, the low end is excellent

The Doors - LA Woman - AP 45rpm - perfect

Freddie Hubbard - Straight Life - Pure Pleasures - great

Chet Baker - Chet is Back - Speakers Corner - excellent

Bill Evans - The Brilliant - normally shy away from colored vinyl but the gold vinyl on this one is pretty darned quiet and overall this is a good record

Jim Hall - Concierto - Pure Pleasure pressing - very very good

Fleetwood Mac - The Pieous Bird of Good Omen - Speakers Corner - totally killer

@mammothguy54  for sure, keep in touch on that. Austin is not much of a diversion off I10 and likely a nice break

Charles Lloyd and the Marvels - One Poem - Tone Poet

Nathan Davis - Sam Records

MTB - Consenting Adults - Criss Cross records

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

Donald Byrd - Parisian Thoroughfare - Sam Records

Justin Townes Earle - Single Mothers

@bslon  the black vinyl Sophtware Slump is excellent. It is so much better than the clear vinyl version it is amazing. I loved that record when it came out and played the hell out of it. I wish there were more copies of it on vinyl.

@slaw dangit, I was at Waterloo Records today and totally forgot to look for Cake - Fashion Nugget!! Not sure why I just remembered that?

@slaw thank you, Sir. Had lots going on and much of my listening I haven't jumped on the forum. Will try to be better about it.

Peter Gabriel - Peter Plays Live - reissue - holy smokes I forgot what an amazing sounding live album this is. The soundstage is big and the low end is absolutely killer. I saw this tour, it was so great and this record brings it back. Not sure why I haven't listened to this album in so long??

Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump on a Wooden Piano - I found a new copy on black vinyl today. I got a copy of the clear vinyl version of this and it is so bad, the vinyl was crazy noisy and for a piano and vocals it is bad bad bad. This version is 1000% better.

Charles Lloyd - Forest Flower - at Monterey - Speakers Corner - unbelievably great recording - side 2 is a bit of free jazz but overall an amazing reference record

@reubent dang, I was hoping it might just be my copy. It is a great record but damn near unlistenable. Guess I have to stay digital on this one.?

@slaw did you get the Cake box set or just Fashion Nugget?

After the discussion about the Talking Heads last night I was able to find a copy of Remain in Light on Rhino pressed in Germany. I typically hate the quality of Rhino's vinyl as it is often very noisy but this one is pretty decent. Low End is still rolled off kinda hard

@bkeske if you can find the white (Vol 1) Tom Petty box set it is well worth it. I have all of them as an original pressing and picked up the box and they did a great job on the remastering and the vinyl is very very good. The Damn the Torpedoes from the box kills my O/P

Dave Brubeck - Time Out - AP 33rpm - excellent

Ben Webster - Gentle Ben - AP 45rpm

Hank Mobley - Curtain Call - Blue Note TP - excellent

@sbank thanks a bunch, Sir

It is a pretty phenomenal combo with the 12" Tonearm. Everything pairs up extremely well. Really happy so far and worth the delta between this and my last table

Thanks, @mammothguy54  so far I am happy as a pig in poop

I need to get that pressing of Speaking in Tongues. I collected T-Heads stuff for a number of years and my 2 O/P of Speaking in Tongues are not great sounding pressings. I will look for that pressing.

Always bummed me how much they rolled off the low end on More Buildings and a number of their other albums.

Yep, Loved my C-sharp. Sold it to a great friend. This one is just that much better in a few areas. No regrets. It is gorgeous

Stevie Nicks - Bella Donna - RSD release

@slaw hey, sorry, lots going on at the house and keep getting pulled away.

I got a Forte S by European Audio Team (EAT) and put a Kiseki Purple Heart on it. It sounds phenomenal and still have break in to do on the cart

Started off the evening with Bill Evans - Behind the Dikes from RSD - such an amazing recording/pressing it is one of my favorites

Great to hear, Sir

Working too much and not listening nearly enough but breaking in a new table and cart

The Cars - The Cars - Mofi

Bob Marley - Exodus - O/P

Colter Wall - S/T

Rush - Moving Pictures - 40th anniversary reissue

Roy Hargrove/Mulgrew Miller - in Harmony - 21 RSD release - very cool duet - phenomenal live recording

Eric Clapton - Unplgged - Mofi One Step - excellent

@big_greg I just spun the same Willie Nelson - I like it a lot! Really glad I picked up a copy. Kind of a weird follow up to Childish Gambino??

Justin Townes Earle - Single Mothers/Absent Fathers - such a great album and this copy is great

Lyle Lovett - 12th of June - reference recording - stunning SQ

Will Nelson - RSD - Live  at Texas Opry House 1974 - really good show and the SQ is very very good

Miles Davis - Seven Steps to Heaven - OP mono

MTB - Consenting Adults - RSD release from '21 - without a doubt a phenomenal jazz reference recording - excellent

Lots of post in the last few weeks. Congrats on the updates, sounds like you are happy with them!

@slaw did you do anything new to your system recently?
