 Noromance.
I see you are still on your Hawkwind kick.
Bit of Motörhead next or is that a bridge too far.... lol.

I actually really like Under Cover by Motörhead tbh.
Head On ... Bachmann Turner Overdrive

$1 vinyl that even after heavy cleaning still sounds like $1 vinyl .... Lol.
Can't revive EVERY album.

Will have to look for a good copy as I really like the music.
Cat Scratch Fever .... Ted Nugent.

$1 vinyl that now sounds like $5 vinyl, better result!
The Golden age of Wireless ... Thomas Dolby.

Just fitted my Pickering XSV3000 with new stylus to my Denon DP1250 TT.

Wow! The old E stylus it came with was definitely junk! This even being brand new is digging information out of the grooves I have not heard before.

It's a good evening!

Have an ADC ZLM, ADC XLM and Empire 250E carts to try out as well.
Return to Fantasy .... Uriah Heep.

Thanks Spirit for the kind words on Living Color. A pity they could not truly follow up their debut album and capitalize on their strengths.
@reubent .

I could say something pithy like great minds think alike or fool’s seldom differ but I will just go for very odd!

Mind through these forums I have found a fellow member not half mile from myself! Here I thought was only audio obsessive in my town , now I know not alone...lol
The Tubes! Seriously? What a Blast!
Nice one.

Inspired me to drag this beast out.

All Those Wasted Years ... Hanoi Rocks.

You love or hate em!
@bdp24 .

No TL did not, this was back in Blighty and I really do not recall who opened, obviously not anybody I was interested in or noteworthy .... Lol.

And yes being right in front of speaker stack I was deaf for 3 days and severe ringing and buzzing for quite some time after!

But was it worth it?
Heck yes!
Welcome back Slaw.

Just slipped my ADC ZLM cart into the Black Widow and it leaves the Pickering XSV3000 in the dust. Much more balanced all round and tracking at just 1.0g.

Simple Minds Live!
@slaw .

They are all just old vintage mm carts from the 70,s.
The Black Widow arm is a very light arm and works well with high compliance carts.
I have a few models to work through to see which I prefer while I give the Nottingham TT a rest for a while.

Just good fun as these carts are mostly available for fairly low cost and whatever I do not like I can just resell again at about the same price .
@6t5-gto.
Still one of the greatest rock shows I have ever attended was AC/DC way back 77 I think
Complete with Bon Scott
Angus was a total lunatic, we were front stage right against a speaker stack.
After no more than 5 minutes Angus sweat was flying everywhere, no idea how he played with all that sweat and yes we got covered.
Just so much energy it was electric!

dayglow.
yes it most certainly is an excellent album.
unfortunately Mann got stereotyped a bit with blinded by the light.
a lot of their later 70,s and early 80,s output is stellar.
No problem @slaw .
Darn autocorrect!
That's my story and I am sticking to it!

Kookoo ... Debbie Harry
I'm out for tonight, have to drive down to Orlando early morning pick my daughter up who is flying back from university for Xmas from Alaska.
Later peeps!
World's Apart .... Saga.

I am afraid I am very mainstream rock and admit to not even having heard of a lot of what some people post here!
@slaw .

Its just one amp right now,slip of the tongue.
However even though it is SS it definitely sounds a lot nicer after 30 to 60 minutes of warm up or playing time.

Ayre ax7e for now. Hopefully done with the pre/power amp rat race for a while.
This integrated does everything I need so far.
I feed it my phono in one set of XLR.the Brooklyn DAC into second set of Xlr, Nakamichi tape deck into rca input and old Pioneer SACD player into,last set of the inputs.
Fortunately my phono has 2 separate inputs so both TT go direct to that.
Reubent
imho that album is probably their most consistent studio effort.
There really is not a limp track on it, although a few are similar enough that they maybe could have cut it from 13 to 10 tracks and it would not have hurt any.
Highly addictive my feet were tapping all the way through.
Been a long boring week away from home for work.
Got back about 1 hour ago, put the amps onto warm up as soon as I walked in ... Lol.

Parcel of Rogues ... Steeleye Span.

One of my fave Bush albums there Slaw , good call only have it on CD though.

Broken Heart ... The Babys
