Steve, I've always loved Bruce Cockburn's - "Stealing Fire". I finally saw him live a couple of years ago, up close and personal, at Jorma Kaukonen's place. A great talent.......
10cc - "Deceptive Bends"

Prompted by a posting from @uberwaltz on the "streaming tonight?" thread.
@prof - I love Max Webster! I saw them open for Rush back in the day, and I've been a fan ever since. Kim Mitchell was one of the best front men in the business.

Love Universal Juveniles.......
I've gone 80's club music tonight......

EBN-OZN - "A-E-I-O-U, sometimes Y"

Malcolm McLaren - "Swamp Thing"

@slaw - Regarding your Rare Earth - "In Concert", do you have the original backpack record cover? Love that cover. One of the favorites from my collection.
Andrew Bire - "Noble Beast" - My first time listening to it. Not sure I like it. I'll give it another try when I'm not so exhausted....
@6t5-gto - 65 GOAT. NICE.......

I'll give the Andrew Bird another spin sometime soon. I do agree that the SQ is very good. Just not sure I like the style. I was really tired when I listened to it and wasn't able to focus on the lyrics. Next time I won't make that mistake.

BTW, good to have you on the thread. It's been mostly me and @slaw for a while. I hope you stick with it for the long run and keep contributing......

@slaw - I love "Talk is Cheap". Really great album. I bought it on CD when it first came out and I still listen to it on occasion.
Head East - "Flat as a Pancake". I've been looking for a clean copy for a couple of years whenever I'm at one of my LSR's. Picked up a really clean early release for $5.00 at Earworms in Milford, OH. Sounds pretty good.....
@boxer12

That one was pretty popular at the parties back in the day.
Exactly! That's why it took me 2 years to find a good, clean, cheap copy.......

Enjoy,

TIC
Queen - "A Night at the Opera" - My 14 Y.O. son wanted to hear it. I haven't listened all the way through in years. We enjoyed it immensely.
Steely Dan - "Gaucho" - Really good. The guest musician lineup is really top notch.
@6t5-gto - I've only got one copy and it is an original Harvest SMAS 832. Sounds good to me....

Joel, my skiing history is just a couple of years short of yours, although I don't ski as many days annually as you. My son has grown up taking a ski trip to Utah or Colorado every years since age 4. He's 18 now and headed to Engineering School this August at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. He's living my dream, and I'm happy for him. What an opportunity for a great education and an incredible life experience, about an hour from Summit County ski areas.

Lunchtime listening.....

Butts Band - S/T

Thanks to the reminder from the "Little-Known Gems" thread.....
@spiritofradio  - I've mentioned the Tomorrow album several times over the years. I don't recall ever getting an acknowledgement from anyone that they had ever heard it. I bought it out of a cutout bin sometime around 1979/80 (saw Steve Howe in the photo on the back). I've been enjoying it (periodically) ever since.

Anyone else familiar with this album?
Tomorrow - S/T

1968 - Early English Psychedelic Rock band featuring a very young Steve Howe before he joined Yes. Great album if you like this kind of music.
Uber - I think my favorite song on the Tomorrow album is "Three Jolly Little Dwarfs". Really, I just like the whole album, especially side two.
Sheryl Crow - "Tuesday Night Music Club"

RSD Black Friday Edition - 2-LP 180G Blue Vinyl Set
Uber - I know the name Soft Machine, or The Soft Machine, but I don't recall ever hearing them. I'll give some of their albums a shot.
Uber - Listening to "The Soft Machine" now. The Love album - "Forever Changes" is a good one.
@dizbuster - Welcome to the best thread on AudiogoN! Keep ’em coming........

BTW, is your user name a reference to the Blue Oyster Cult song - "7 Screaming Diz-busters"? Or, uh, something else?
@6t5-gto - Agreed. The recent reissue of Neil Young's - "Harvest" is excellent.
Focus - "Focus III" - Really good prog/jazz rock record from The Dutch Masters.....
@bdp24 - Dave Mason's "Let it Flow" is a good album (IMHO), but "Alone Together" is an EXCELLENT Album. Dave's live album - "Certified Live" is also outstanding! Good stuff that doesn't get much recognition these days. Thanks for the reminder....
@uberwaltz @spiritofradio  -  Jeff Beck with the Jan Hammer Group Live

I also posted that one a couple of times over the last month or two. Great album.
@6t5-gto - I was not familiar with "Caichaito" so I checked it out. I take it you were referring to Cachaito? It is smokin'. The vinyl is now on my Amazon Wishlist.
I’m having an unusual morning listen. This morning - Brandi Carlile - "by the way, I forgive you"

Trying to decide if I’m going to go see her here in Cincinnati on Sunday night. Doesn’t fit well into my weekend schedule and Monday business travel. But, I do want to see her. Choices.......
Dang Uber, you are on a roll. I love those albums from Jackson Browne and Lee Michaels. Add those to your Jeff Beck pick, and you are on a winning streak.
