What to do, next?

As with most of you, out there, it has come time to UPGRADE! I have been waiting for the obvious "perfect entry point" into the world of digital video switching, but alas, I think it will never come.

I have been told that B&K is "coming soon" with their new-platform Reference 70. I wonder if anyone would know about it, and whether there may be a more viable alternative for a processor, considering money, quality, sound, convenience, etc.

My system is:

B&K Reference 20
B&K 4420M (L,C,R)
B&K 4420 (rear)
Pioneer Elite DV-59 AVi DVD player
DirecTV HR-21 DVR
B&W 803 (L & R)
B&W 805 (rear & center)
Velodyne ULD-15 sub
and, coming soon: Escient Fireball

Interested in options, and improvements.

Thanx

I keep checking on this. If you are prepared to wait a couple more years then the prices should come down a lot. Of course, you may want to be a proud owner of some of the first generation ones to be out.
Douglas, sorry to bother you no answer to your question. If you have a few seconds, could you tell me what codes you've used or heard of for programming the DirecTV remote to your B&K? Anything you know would be appreciated. Thanks. Doug: mrhollywood@roadrunner.com
