What speakers for 10k?

Looking to buy the end of game speakers, currently I have Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand. My amp is the Parasound a21 with the Parasound p5 pre amp, Marantz sa8001 sacd and the Marantz sr5001 avr, psa xs15se sub. My budget is 5 to 10k on main speaker upgrade.

Didn't know about Wavetouch until today while looking into Vapor speakers which has turned up some very interesting posts. Glad I found this thread and will be checking out Wavetouch.

Jughead, I bet they will look good in black and after doing more research on the internet I really think without a doubt you made the better choice.
Jughead, you hit a nerve with wolfman by going a different direction than what he is more than likely selling which is probably the same speaker that the guy who told you the black color will make them sound better. Sounds like they are cut from the same cloth.
Enjoy the speakers and just report back after you have spent some time with them. Hopefully Wavetouch is very successful and wish them the best!
When I was looking for postings on Vapor either here or other sites I saw a lot of drama. The "Wolf" likes birch ply because that is what Vapor uses. Pretty clear who "wolf" is and I would not touch the company with a ten foot pole. Go to Audio Circle and look up Dragon_vibe's DELETED posts.
"ALARMING" It would be a very stupid idea to part with your money! It makes sense why they were deleted.
Why do I have the feeling that Sevenshy and Wolfy are the same dude and a bit jealous about Jughead buying Wavetouch speakers? Let it go man, your speakers are run of the mill.
Roscoe, where did you hear the Salk Exotica 3? Vapor may sound good but the delays in shipping are just brutal from what I have read so far. You may be in good shape if the speaker is already built like a show demo piece.

Either way, Salk hands down has a great track record.
Thanks for pointing out the Wavetouch review. Sounds like a ton of speaker for the money and has an in home trial period. Doesn't get much better than that and it sounds like they really stand behind their work!

Read it and weep Sevenwolfy.
Sevenshy, you may need class A for the Magnavox but probably a lot less for the Wave Touch. I see you spell out Magnavox but not your direct competing brand Wavetouch Audio with it's birch ply, descent drivers, good crossover parts and can't forget the 40 day in home trial!

You are having a real issue with these Wavetouch Audio speakers for some reason.
