I'd be very interested in learning what speakers professional musicians, recording engineers, and other "insiders" own in their personal audio systems, which they paid for themselves. Any "inside" information?

It gives me great pause to wonder: If studio engineers are not using "audiophile-grade" speakers, then might it be likely that the original recording is highly "inaccurate" and flawed. If so, is it not folly to be spending ungodly sums of money on high-end audiophile components that promise accuracy and transparency when the source is inaccurate and lacking in transparency?
