For me it has to be the line from "I Wish I Were In Love Again" by Rodgers and Hart.

When love conceals it soon reveals,
The faint aroma of performing seals,
The double-crossing of a pair of heels,
I wish I were in love again.

Whenever I hear the double crossing of a pair of heels, I always think of a film noir detective story.
