What's your experience with Fidelia?

As a playback software on MacMini w/ SnowLeopard, I'm interested in your experience with Fidelia.

I've just started using it in its free trial period: 15 days. I've also used Pure Music and iTunes. So far, Fidelia seems very suited for two of my systems, and not so much with another. On that one Pure Music seems to get it right.

Sirotseta, thanks very much for your thoughts on Fidelia and for mentioning Audirvana. I wasn't aware of that playback sw.

I'm using the Tranquility DAC and I'll have to check with the guys who made it regarding the DAC and its relationship to that playback sw.

My impression is that it's cystal clear and well-defined, but may not be as "rounded" nor "organic" as PureMusic or Audirvana. Imaging is superb.

Upsampling is probably the best there is (using iZotope engine), but you may not hear the benefits which is highly dependent on individual DAC's digital filter.
