What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

When I saw this pop up in the last week's threads, I figured I'd missed the party.  Then I saw it began in 2012 and was still going.  My trusty Rotel RCD-1072 was offline for a while as I was ripping every new CD to FLAC and running off of a drive.  The initial a/b between the player and a FLAC file of the same thing favored the latter, so I put the player on the bench awaiting reassignment.  Then a friend gave me a couple of office boxes full of CDs to enjoy or take to the thrift store.  Having blindly ripped a lot of CDs that I later found to be rather unenjoyable, I decided to put the Rotel back in service to preview everything before ripping.  Which (finally) brings me to the question posed by this thread.  Paul Rodgers Live in Glasgow sounded downright amazing for a live recording.  As I told a friend, it's the first time in a while that I played music that made me immediately want more volume.  The second cool feature of this CDP is HDCD capability.  I found a few CDs in the pile with that encoding, and Cyrus Chestnut's CD with several notable artists (Anita Baker et al) is a very well done bit of jazz.  As a result of these discoveries, the Rotel player has secured a permanent spot in the rack, whether for previewing or enjoying the limited number of HDCD discs out there.
