Surprises me no one speaks of this Seas T35 Exotic, have not heard it, but can only imagine its no doubt the finest dome tweeter ever made.
Its like a Millennium on steroids.
If the Voxativ AC1A did not exist, I'd most likely build the Seas Exotic Woofer + T35.
In fact, I bet the Seas Exotic Woofer/Tweeter would give one heck of a shootout with the AC1A.
Both about $2k. well actually when you add in the Seas Mundorf caps, $2500-$3k.
I'd rather go Vox. But then ,,,,you might get get that low end like the Seas Exotic 8, nor the highs like the T35...
But you will not get the mids as voiced in the Vox 8.
Solution,
Add a Magnovox 1960's tweeter horn + a Seas W22 Graphene for bass, along with the Vox, Now you have world class bass, mids, highs.
This most likely will be my next speaker, sometime later this year.
