what is the diff in the Toshiba HD models

Im confused by the different models, I want to buy one here on agon or vgon and while my original momories are that the first model was very slow and bug laden, I have not seen much mention of this lately willie
my screen is a pioneer 1080i 42 inch plasma

Did you mean to say your plasma will accept a 1080i input signal but not 1080p input? AFAIK, native resolution of of plasma is always progressive.

The X2A is the only one that does 1080p; all the others do 1080i.---There must be 100 pages of chat on each player if you go to "avsforum".
