These audiophile acronyms, such as "PRaT," are rather irritating when encountered during reading a review of equipment, etc. Although I understand why reviewers resort to using these insider-acronyms, to save themselves time and effort to spell them out, these acronyms nonetheless represent a form of pretentious top-secret code reserved for the inner-most echelon of audio geeks. We ORDINARY people have to Google-research their meanings.
