What equipment have you bought this year so far ?

INFINITY 2000A -- A note of caution.

I had two pairs of these lovely speakers and was surprised and saddened when I eventually went to sell them. Most of the RTR tweeters were totally dead.

@dopogue Yes, that can happen. These speakers are approaching 50 years old. But as I mentioned in my post, I'm an old Infinity hand and had enough know how and spare parts to fully restore the pair of non-operational 2000As that I bought.  If anyone is curious about this odd saga of old speakers, they could Google "Infinity 2000A Restoration"

This is the first year in a long time that I haven't bought any new gear.
The reason is I really like the way it sounds right now. So, instead, I bought a Orient Triton dive watch and a Strapcode Angus Jubilee strap to go with it. 👍

Phomchick, I'm glad there is hope for these speakers (Infinity 2000A).  I should note that mine were pretty much in the prime of life -- or should have been-- when I sold them sometime in the early 1980s.
