What do I need to know about Gershman RX 20 or RX 2 or other version.

From way back when I've been wanting to try a pair of these speakers. I remember reading things like they have bass. OK, what are the mids and highs like? Soft and laid back or over emphasized? I'm looking for a softer laid back sound. Are these worth checking out?
