What can I expect

I'm thinking of buying a pair of 1st or 2nd generation Andra's. What differences can I expect compared to my current speakers, Von Schweikert VR4 Gen 3 HSE's. I like most everything about them but feel the eggleston are a step or two above. I'm looking for owners opinions or comparisons of the two?
