What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Thanks, Uber.  Gonna be a long slow process, but at least the insurance company is A+.   No hassles at all.
Unfortunately, the spouse is like, “Since all this loud repair work will take a couple months, we should move out and get the guest bath and kitchen done...”
With COVID-19 having her work from home, I can’t fault her logic.
spending the afternoon on the back deck eating crab and listening to the 90s R&B playlist on the Qobuz app.  Streaming from my phone to a portable Riva speaker I bought for my wife’s craft room. Not high fidelity but it gets the job done.
Elmo Hope Quintet - With Frank Foster and Freeman Lee

This is why I like streaming.  I completely missed the Pavements when this album was originally released (1992); I was in Austin and was heavily into Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Steve Earle.  Nice to catch up on stuff I was too busy to discover when I was younger.

Didn’t care for it much myself.  Not a big Grateful Dead fan, but thought it might ignite something in me now that I have the time and inclination to listen.   More for the completist.

I just finished the new TechMoan video on YouTube, where he reviewed an early VCR digital recorder, the Technics SV-P-100.   As always, he describes all the other mediums that were available at the time.   I am always intrigued to find a new medium I have never seen or just overlooked.  Phone SD card? How does that work, exactly?  In the meantime:

Margo Price - That’s How Rumors Get Started

Maybe I’ll find the original album and give it a proper listening to.

looking for their original version of “Torn”, Natalie Imbruglia’s big hit, and came across this album.  Wish they had been more popular.
Toots And The Maytals - Funky Kingston

The VA did a study correlating music styles and anxiety mitigation.  The most effective music style was reggae.  This album is prescription strength!

Loved the Art Blakey as well.  Didn’t realize until after listening it was previously unreleased.  A real treat for the jazz fan.
