What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Disciplined Breakdown ... Collective Soul.

Greg.
Let me know if you think the headphone cable makes any difference.
Been tempted by Nordost cable they have on sale at Parts Connexion.
Greg.
Outstanding review my friend.
Makes me question about splurging on the Nordost especially when my headphone listening is likely in the order of couple hours per week at best.
Greg.
They are nothing special but still was curious as to how much difference a change in cable might make.

HiFiMan he-4xx
Greg.

You are probably right on the headphone cables, as cost would be more than the cans!
Not that I have not done that before on CD player and DAC etc.
Love is .... Steve Howe.

New on Qobuz.

I also see a lot of Pat Metheny hires releases this morning so something to work through!
Going to have to give that a listen too Ghost.
Many thanks!
Not much else to do in my hotel room tonight!
I was very impressed with the new Steve Howe album, one to look out for on vinyl I believe.
That's sort of funny bkeske.
I bought a used Dave Mason album few months back, never even thought to look at the vinyl as I know the seller well.
When I got home there was actually two copies of same record in it😲😲.
WTH? Lol.
I passed over the new Hornsby release as never been overwhelmed by some of his output.
Might at least have to give it a listen.
welcome to the world of streaming nrthomas!

As you have found out the SQ of Qobuz is vastly superior to Spotify but Spotify does have larger catalogue so your pays yer money and takes yer choices.
Using an external DAC especially the Cary is a great move with the Node, should sound stellar.
Enjoy
Maybe you have another device that supports it that you could output to the Oppo's DAC?
Thats where I was leaning with the Chromecast, it could then output via mini toslink to the Oppo to use its dac.
Especially if they need to keep the Oppo anyway to play movies, CD etc.
The Chromecast only supports up to 24/96.
The Node will do 24/192 on coax output I am sure but not so sure on the toslink?
What digital inputs does the 105 have or would you be needing to bring signal in via stereo RCA analog inputs?
No problem ovinewar!

They are a blast from my past.
My college roommate was huge into the whole New Romantic era.
He used to dress just like Gary Numan!
Scary.....
Sorry for the loss Greg and obviously a huge loss to whomever he leaves behind, cannot begin to imagine.....

The Rotters Club ..... Hatfield and the North.
