what are the most commonly used audio outputs used

Just wanted to ask what you all use for audio output interfaces on your devices. Looking to get a sense of what people are looking for when it comes to making a buying decision on audio gear - CD players, digital transports, etc.
Sometimes you don't have choice. Many tube amps are single-ended (RCA). If you love it's sound, you would integrate it with other components which may be balanced (XLR).
