What are the best amps for B&W N802's?

Would appreciate your opinion on the best amp setup for my B&W N802's. I don't want to play them particularly loud but still want as broad a sonic signature as possible. Every one says they need lots of juice - why is this?

i have done a great deal of research... although options very, greatly, there are three amps that seem to always be on the list for ALL B&W speakers. Krell, Macintosh, and Classe. Different sizes for different series. although I have not personally demoed them, i honestly dont even know if i could hear the difference anyway. if you are going to take options on the amps, make sure that ALL of the Variables are the same when some speaks of what is "better." Alot of people will say that they herd a difference but it will rarly be in the exact same room with the exact same equipment. good luck
