I upgraded from a Minerva to DAC202 so I am used to Weiss gear. I owned the EMM SE stack before moving to a music server model.
It is terrific, by which I mean neutral and non-fatiguing. It is not warm sounding nor to harsh - digital stress. It does not have the liquid/analog sound of dCS - perhaps lacking the DSD upsampling benefit.
What I like the most is the flexibility of multiple input and output options - a digital preamp in effect. I would make the same decision again.
