We've been measuring sound all wrong...


Title is a little tongue-in-cheeck (as always) but I wanted to point this out as being actual science, that leads to new ways of measuring and understanding sound.  Sites that re-use ancient methods of qualifying sound are not doing science, they are doing quality assurance.

This is not only new measurements, but new ways to think about hos the human brain perceives sound, which has clearly not been fully explored yet.
