If your serious about getting a Jolida then you should seriously consider buying the 502 instead of the 302. If I recall correctly the 302 uses ( only ) el-34 tubes, while the 502 will use either 6550's or kt88's. I think you will find the kt88's sound best in Jolida. When I did a a/b demo of these two amps I found the 502 was much more musical than the 302.
wattage difference between SS and Tube
i'm considering to buy a tube integrated amp. however, as this is the first time looking into it, i do not know why so many tube amps have such lower wattage output than SS.i'm looking into Jolida JD 302b and it only outputs 50W per channel. does this mean that i have to crank up the volume control in order to hear the music at all? please help! i need to be educated. thanks.
