They are moving more and more into providing services, as well as the gear, for doing audio set ups. I saw the Wallyscope at Capital Audiofest. It is a specialized microscope mounted to a three-axis stand that allows for very precise positioning of the scope. It certainly would be something for my poor eyes, although the $1250 quoted price is pretty steep for anyone but a shop to own. I don't think it has the magnification for use in setting VTA/SRA, but I don't really care because that is best set by listening anyway.
Wally Tools Scores High (In my eyes anyway)
I was looking into the upcoming Wallyscope. When I bumped into this new service they are offering. The intro page could not be more true. I have been saying this for years under sniper fire. One has no idea what his (her) system is doing unless you measure it.
