VTL MB-450 Series III Signature Monoblocks VS. Pass Labs 260.8 Monoblocks

In other words, Tubes vs. Solidstate amps.

I would value oppinions (with some logic applied please!) on the pro’s/Cons of the VTL MB-450 monoblocks vs the SS Pass Labs 260.8 monoblocks. I will be using these amps with a pair of Wilson Audio Sasha series 2 speakers, paired with 2 JL Audio E110 Subs.

My concerns with tubes are the fragility of the platform, and the fact that my listening space is a mix if 70% music and 30% TV/Movies. The Pass Labs seems like a more stable solution, but I really like the VTL amps for their sound quality..not that the Pass Labs are bad in any way.

My understaningf is that both of these amps are very good, but I’m looking for feedback from those who have actually listened to these two options and what you thought

the combination of vtl and Wilson is legendary I used to work at a famous NY wilson vtl dealer sbs and this was a well known pairing

the tubes will create a much wider and deeper sounstage them the pass Wilson's love good big tube amplifiers as per theater  yoy can buy a decent Ss state amp and switch cobbections for theater

we would also recommend the zesto 300watt Eros monoblocks we use them with a variety of loudspeakers and these ams are incredibile they use less tubes then the vtls and with new monoblocks  cimming out from zesto you can get a great price on them
