As long as it spins at the right speed I wouldn't worry about it.
VPI SDS Factory Voltage Setting Question
Hi,
It's my first day using my VPI SDS and I noticed after the 115V ramp up that my 33 constant setting is 84 and my 45 constant setting is 115. These sounded high, so I changed the constant voltage to 72 for 33rpm and 90 for 45rpm.
I am using this on a VPI Scoutmaster with the regular platter, so I didn't see the need for the higher voltage. I was reading the manual and the factory default should have been 72 and 90, but as I already listed it was set at 84 and 115, strange huh?
Any inputs on why this was set so high from the factory and if I did the right thing by lowering the voltages?
Thanks in advance.
