Had the same experence as a VPI dealer; I used some brass cones under mine; rubber feet seem to afffect bass impact more than you would think they would.
VPI SDS
Purchased a VPI SDS last week and was amazed at the improvement it made. This weekend I put Omicron magic dream footers under the SDS and was suprised by the improved impact and weight in the bass it also added a general ease to the sound and better focus. Wanted to put this out there so others might be able to benefit from my experience.
