Vocal focus a bit low

After raising my speakers using speaker stand and placing my speakers nicely and getting the in phase and out of phase sound correctly. I found that the vocal is a bit low. It sound like the singer's mouth is lower than my chair. Why is that so? Anyway to make the center sound focus move up? thanks
