If it is a 6922 or some derivative of that tube, try a Brimar 6922/EC88...etc. I replaced my sovtek with the Brimar in my Kora 100SB Triodes and the sound was transformed into something marvelous. Mike
Go with some of the NOS tubes from Sylvania, RCA, etc. I did and found the sounstage more liquid and dynamic. Check out http://www.homestead.com/knoot/TubeList1.html for some good info. Also, replacing the front two tubes will be more effective than any other position. Replacing all with good NOS is most desireable. Bob
