Vinshine X Collaboration with Kinki Studio, TheTai Hang power enhancer

What a surprise after installing the Taihang in my system,, in a word, amazing.  Stage depth clarity was amoung one of the first things I notice.  My system consists of tubes pre and power amps, with a digital and analog front end.  Tubes as we know exhibit a second harmonic noise distortion which is a given and something we live with as it’s our perception as being more musical.  Dirty power can add more nastiness to this by way of unfiltered AC.  With the addition of the Taihang it has made all the background information much more clearer.  My speakers are fairly high resolving so was able to take advantage of this additional gain the Taihang give me.  Leading edges from instruments started and stopped more precisely still retaining musicality. Black background noise seemed non existent as we like saying but in this case it really does without straining to not hear.  So clean power can do all this, seems to be!  Also will mention as in some cases experienced with power amps, I sensed no loss in dynamics or compression which is one of the biggest concerns when implementing such products.  This in my first day of listening.  So again I’ll go back to my original statement, amazing!   Alvin’s collaboration as he calls it, has some magic inside this beautifully crafted box.

The best I've heard to date in my system is Furutech DPS-4.1 with rhodium plugs and nothing else has come close...

That will give your DPS dielectric and connectors a workout for sure...👌

Wig😁

That’s awesome and it will continue to get better over the next few weeks👌

I'd be curious on how it compares to Puritan as the technology is very similar and half the cost...

Wig

Yes, it's released as the first batches sold very quickly and production is underway to meet the current demand...

I have been burning in my Tai Hang for one week but know from experience that it will get even better at 300+ hours.

The first thing I noticed after implementing the Tai Hang was how natural and organic it sounded with better micro/macro details and musicians appears to have a live presence within your listening space.

I have been using a very good power conditioner for over 4 years and with just one week of use, the Tai Hang has already surpassed the performance of my previous unit...

Fit and finish of the Tai Hang is excellent and my experience with Alvin and Vinshine Audio has been Outstanding!

Keep up the great work!

Yes, it's the same PC I used on my Puritan and it's the PC that all of my components are outfitted with.

@charliee

Yes, I build my own PCs.

The FI-28 would be a good choice and if you can swing it, the NCF brings out more nuances and a quieter background especially with Furutech DPS Cabling.

Yes, as it shines with NCF and presents a more neutral presentation but gold will add a tad more warmth...

Very long burn-in, buy an adapter and place on refrigerator or computer for a month. 😁

Congrats and it will sound very good with 4-5 weeks of continuous use👌

Guys,

Another notable tweek is to place good quality footers under your T/H; I have Stackaudio AUVA EQ under all of my components and the results are remarkable but you'll notice more articulate bass, low level detail and ambiance retrieval with tighter focused images.

Let me know what you think after living with them in your system for a while.

Wig

@charliee

The Tai Hang sounds better and you could build or purchase a basic outlet to plug into your T/H.

Wig

Either would be fine or if you already have an extra outlet and PC, visit your local home improvement store and purchase a metal or hardened plastic outlet box and build yourself for very little money.
