I have the Unison CD player from a few years back.
Awesome player. Very full sound. Excellent retrieval of detail. Non fatiguing.
One thing that drives me crazy ... NOISY and I mean NOISY disc drive ... the TEAC CD5010A . It is a CD ROM drive that TEAC no longer makes and I cannot find (even eBay).
I don’t hear the whirring noises while the CD is playing, but it is there when I press play. As a workaround, the noise is less when I press << once the disc queues up.
No experience with the others.
